Accommodations
"EinMaat" was a Great Lakes Boat until 1997, when she made her voyage from
Buffalo to her home in Mystic, CT.
The main salon provides comfortable seating for five people in two chairs
and a rattan couch. The cabin has been customized by the current owner to
provide additional storage not found on any other Trojan. Teak is used
extensively in the cabin, and the wood is clean, bright and well cared for.
An expandable "half" table that seats four is attached to the starboard
side.
The galley is one step down to the port, complete with
full-size refrigerator, microwave, sink and ample stowage below the sink.
EinMaat has overnight accommodations for four. The guest
stateroom is down two steps to the starboard and is an upper/lower
arrangement with the upper bunk folding down to form a couch. The guest
stateroom is separated from the main cabin by a companionway door. There is
a hanging locker and two drawers underneath, as well as drawer storage under
the lower bunk. The head is opposite the guest bunks and contains a
self-contained head, sink, medicine cabinet and separate shower stall. A
companionway door separates the V-berth from lower guest stateroom and
companionway. The forward V-berth has 6-foot stand-up access to the bunks,
with stowage underneath in cedar-lined areas. The re is also a bookrack,
storage shelf and hanging locker on the starboard side. There are 12-volt
lights over each bunk and 110 power plugs on the side of each bunk.
The bridge has a helm chair on centerline and a crew chair to starboard.
Guest seating for three is located on the front of the helm station.
Visibility to all points is good. Controls and instruments are easy to read
and easy to reach.
